I haven't been doing much thrifting/picking myself lately, so when I stopped in one of my favorite thrift stores and spotted this French Provincial nightstand/side table, I was excited. It was clean and in great condition.
Layla's Mint goes perfectly with some of the gray/arrow paper I had from Spoonflower. I used just a touch of Mora on the handles.
The edges are lightly distressed and I finished the side table with Miss Mustard Seed's White Wax. Out of the three waxes I carry, I probably use White Wax the least...but, customers love it. White Wax is a fine museum quality wax made from beeswax with a little carnauba wax and then tinted with a creamy white. It's perfect for creating a faded, washed or limed look on a piece of painted furniture (everyone loves beachy, right?).
